Welcome to our game!

First of all, we at Sidereus would like to welcome you to our game. We strive to create an atmosphere where all players inexperienced to veteran can look back and say without reservation that they had a good time. This section of our site will try to help you with any questions you have and get you started on the road to being the newest Sidereus player.

How do I get started?

The best way to start getting involved with Sidereus is to talk to other players. By creating an account on our forums, you can talk to other players who may have some tips or advice to help you get started. In addition to talking to a few of the other players to help get a grasp on the game, there are also a few points you'll want to cover before you jump into playing Sidereus;

  1. Read the Character Creation Guide and the Sidereus rulebook. The rulebook contains a wealth of information that will help you understand the premise of the game as well as a number of safety rules and other policies. You can buy a rulebook at the Sidereus Online Store, or you can read a copy for free by going to the Rulebook section of the website.

  2. Read the Logistics section of the website. Logistics is an important part of the game as it covers everything from checking in to making sure you have all the tags and other items you need to actually play the game. Understanding our logistics procedures is an important part of assuring you are ready to play.

  3. Introduce yourself! Because it can't be mentioned enough, making sure to introduce yourself to the other Sidereus players on the forum before an event can really make the transition easier as you come into the game. It can also help to bring a friend or two along, as having an adventuring party always makes life a bit easier - and coming with friends can help to assure a little plot gets thrown your way on your first event.

  4. Create your character! This is where the fun really begins! By using our online Character Generator (Coming Soon!) or by simply writing up a concept and history, you can do a great deal to help your character really come alive. There is no better way to make sure you are prepared to play than to know how to get into your role.
