MAGICAL APTITUDE (General)
Either through an innate gift or some type of advanced training in your youth, the art of Arcane magic comes easily to you. You are able to bend the fickle flow of magic to your will with far less effort than other mortals. Those who have committed their whole lives to the study of the Arcane have not seen one with your level of power in centuries. You are truly a prodigy.

Prerequisite: Must be chosen at 1st Level, Intellect 6+
Benefit: This Trait only comes into play during character creation and character enhancement.

For the purposes of character creation and development, your Intellect Ability score counts as one level higher than it actually is when you are purchasing Arcane or Magic (Arcane) skills. This will allow you to meet prerequisites that you would otherwise be unable to meet. In addition, you receive a 2 point discount on any Arcane (Ritual) skills and any Magic (Arcane) skills. This discount does not apply to any other Arcane skill types.

Your character has an innate understanding of the ways of the Arcane, and therefore may also receive visions or portents. These may come in many forms, and you will always be informed of them by the Plot Committee when necessary.

What is a Trait?: Traits are special features that either give your character a new ability or help to enhance one that he or she already has. Unlike a Skill, Traits are not learned; they are representative of things that are part of your character on an innate and sometimes inherited level.

Traits cost Character Points just like Attributes and Skills. In order to add a Trait to your character, you must first be sure that your character meets the prerequisites. If your character does, then simply pay the Character Point cost and add the Trait to your character’s list of abilities.

You may select up to three Traits at character creation, however no more than one of these Traits may be a Bloodline Trait.
