* Attacking Cainith while I was being dominated by Aoth (Mentally. MENTALLY.) and seeing his semi-agonized reluctance when he realized he was going to have to attack me. Five seconds later, he had dropped me with an eviscerate and performed a killing blow. That's paladins for you.
Attacking a guy with bloodlust with a sword that swings body will do things like that. He had no choice. But he felt bad about it.
-Paladins 3. It was great to see the good gods (seemingly) finally take an active role in things and step in on behalf of their champions. After a year of feeling like the only gods that cared were the evil ones, it was extremely refreshing, and awesome being the recipient of it. Also having Champion of Light finally kick into full swing was really cool, and has opened some really exciting promises for the future.
-Looking around at the gathered PCs during logistics, and realizing that our healing was limited to three paladins and Ogden, and that our ability to bring people back from the dead was just Cainith's CoL one-use ability. Thankfully, Shane decided to make Justice a Champion of Light as well. I have never, even at the Legacy event, felt that apprehensive about our odds of survival. Kudos to Ogden for his overtime healing.
-Our musicians. It was a great element to the event, and it was incredibly amusing how the music persisted even when holds were called. You guys were great!
-I'll be honest, I was perplexed when I saw that Keefe was playing Toren instead of Ivar at this event. I kept thinking how rough of an event it would be for Toren, and wondering how much he would be able to help. As it turned out, especially with our almost non-existent healing, Toren might have been the most valuable PC there! Awesome job dude!
-Harry. Just awesome job across the board. It's almost disappointing to have finally beaten Aoth, as he had become such an iconic adversary.
