- At approximately 30 minutes after midnight every character in Ostram's Hollow or Ashpond - or who has the Weirdness Magnet Flaw, or is a devotee of Dunmharu (Chosen One or Clerical Investment) sees the stars flicker and then wink out to blackness for a total period of three hours. Even the moon seems dimmer during this time.

Walking back to the inn in Lorhaven, darkness surrounds Vosgonar. He looks to the nearly black sky and notes claps of lightning in the distance. He shrugs and closes his eyes, making his way back to the inn by memory, his psychic abilities keeping him from bumping into anybody - or any thing- en route.

Darius looks up to the black sky, and a troubled look crosses over his face as he patrols the area surrounding Ashpond.

Without a word, he keeps on his patrol, making sure that as little danger befalls the people of the town while this strange occurrence takes place, intent on patrolling straight through till dawn, and intending on returning to his forge, and asking the Runes for guidance when the night is through.
